With the pandemic, COVID-19, stay at home orders, etc. looks like summer basketball camps may be cancelled.
We have an outstanding camp at the Michigan Athletic Club where we have five weeks in the summer. This photo was taken last year. The young men waiting their turn to take the court. Love our campers, they all buy in and play the right way.

You often hear (adults) say “kids have changed.”
Reading Bill Libby’s, “The Walton Gang.”
Interesting quote from John Wooden on page 170.
“Young men are not as coachable today. There’s a rebellion against supervision.”
The book was written 46 years ago…
Rebellion against supervision, huh?
Kids haven’t changed, it’s the people and things around them that have changed.

Summer’s here. Great opportunity for players to get better. There may not be any travel team basketball this summer but it looks like there will be time with your high school team and of course there’s the old fashioned way to improve; go out and work on your game. Don’t tweet about it. Don’t worry about video clips on Instagram. Put in the work…
