For the third season in a row the Warriors played the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals. Golden State wins in 2017, 4 games to 1.
Kevin Durant is named MVP of the Finals.

FINALLY!
In a rematch of the 2015 championship, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the Golden State Warriors 4 games to 3. It is the Cavaliers first championship.
Things didn’t look too good for the Cavs as they lost the first two games of the series, and they trailed the series 3-1. But they managed to bounce back and win the city’s first pro sports championship since 1964.
LeBron James is named MVP of the Finals. He became the first player in NBA history to lead all players in a playoff series in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Not even Michael, Kareem or Bill Russell did that.
Kyrie Irving, JR Smith, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, Richard Jefferson, Iman Shumpert, and Matthew Dellavedova all key contributors. Ty Lue head coach.
