On what he learned during his time spent in San Antonio with the Spurs:

“How to be a winner and a positive teammate. How to conduct myself on and off the court. There are things that I learned there that I’ve carried with me to this day. They’ve helped make me a better player here in Indiana.”


“Coach challenged us that we needed to change immediately. He came in with different types of offensive sets that kind of helps us as athletes, who we are on this team, young and athletic. It kind of helped us and challenged us to make plays for others and not just ourselves. I like the direction that we’re going.”
