So sorry I haven’t been blogging but last Tuesday I was struck by an automobile while walking to my car. Someone ran a red light, got hit by a car going through the intersection and smashed into me – the local newspaper. Cit-Pat has the story.
It’s difficult typing with one hand.
I sustained a few injuries; broken wrist, broken leg, fractured cheek bone and a concussion – hopefully I am back on the sidelines soon.
I recall Bobby Hurley‘s car accident back in the 90′s and this morning I read an article by Adrian W of yahoo sports.com on a former Canisius basketball player who is in a coma due to a car accident.
I’m not sure if you have ever been in a car accident or have had a loved one involved, but I will tell you, it’s scary! All I heard was a screech and from the corner of my eye I saw the vehicle - the next thing I knew I was hit.
All I recall is being in the ambulance strapped down for the next six hours.
All week long I have been repeating this essay on Attitude:
‘The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.’
GIVE YOUR BEST EVERY DAY!
